meet the staff
All of our Teachers hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree; they are all experienced Early Childhood Educators.
Kathleen Fortier is our Teacher in the 5 Day Pre-Kindergarten Class. She has a Masters Degree in Education and has been teaching at our Preschool for 12 years.
Karen Kowalski is our Teacher in the 4 Day Pre-Kindergarten Class. She has a Masters Degree in Developmental Reading and has been teaching at our Preschool for 18 years; two of her children attended First Pres. Preschool as well.
Lisa Bromley-Parker is our Teacher in the Toddler Class and 2 Day Three Year Old Class. She has a Bachelors Degree and is a Certified Teacher Pre-K through 6th Grade. Lisa has been teaching at our Preschool for 8 years.
Jill Guillet is our Mommy & Me Teacher. She has a Bachelors Degree in Education. Jill has been teaching the Mommy & Me Class for 4 years and two of her children attended First Pres. Preschool.
Sarah Spitzer has been teaching Gym Class here at First Pres. for 17 years. She has a Masters Degree in Sport and Fitness Management; both of her children attended our Preschool.
Evi Fisher is our Teacher in the 3 Day Three Year Old Class. She has a Bachelors Degree in Art History; she is returning to our Preschool this year after having run her own children's art studio. Evi previously taught Mommy & Me, the Toddler Class, and a Three Year Old Class at First Pres. Preschool.
Assistant Teachers
All of our Assistant Teachers are experienced in Early Childhood Education as well.
Sharon Morphis is the Assistant Teacher in the 5 Day Pre-Kindergarten Class. She has an Associates Degree and has been with First Pres. for 10 years; prior to that she worked as an Aide in a local Elementary School. All of Sharon's children attended our Preschool.
Susan Sylvia is the Assistant Teacher in the Toddler Class and 2 Day Three Year Old Class. She holds a Bachelors Degree; her two children were students of the Preschool; and she is also a graduate of First Pres. Preschool. Susan has been teaching for 3 years with Mrs. Bromley-Parker.
Lynn Schulz is the Assistant Teacher in the 4 Day Pre-Kindergarten Class. She has a Bachelor's Degree in English. She has been with First Pres. for 4 years; first working as a "Floating Staff" and then in the Three Year Old Classes. Lynn's children and neices have all attended our Preschool.
Judith Thomas is the Assistant Teacher in the 3 Day Three Year Old Class. She has a Nursing Degree and was previously a registered Mid-Wife. She has been with First Pres. as an Assistant Teacher and Substitute for 5 years. Both of her children attended our Preschool.
